More than likely a home-built on a Dodge frame and drive train. I used to know a guy who was a sheet metal tech who did that with rolled 4WD’s several times and then sold them for FAR more than he had into them… sweet.
Its a Dodge Ramcharger frame, and drivetrain. The body is a customised Kaiser I believe. Its taken the present owner years to get it in its present form. As with most projects they are never finished. I know the owner and he’s one hell of a guy. He’s a proud member of Ramchargercentral/Texas Chapter. Go Ron aka workgoats. yep he’s an Aggie and proud of it.
Skip almost got it right. I built it first on a 56 Willys chassis. It got rolled in a collision on a city street. Eventually I modified it and put it on the Ramcharger frame that I bought with the insurance money. Body was built from scratch, and rebuilt from scratch. Frame is an unaltered 82 Ramcharger.
I think that would make it a RonCharger! On board air compressor, winch, TV cameras for tough trails, and a low center of gravity. I can personally testify that that sucker can wheel too!
i think thast a amped up volkswagon Thing a car created by Adolf Hitler during WWII a vehicle used in the same way as the american Jeep
I don’t think that is a VW thing redux or a Kubelwagen of world war 2. Looks to me to be front engined 4 wheel drive. Kinda neat machine.
I like it.
Is that some 50′s military Dodge? It does have the Ram hood ornament. I know Dodge had some utilitarian looking trucks in that era.
UH…CAN YOU SAY ” HOMEMADE ” ? MOST IF NOT ALL OF THE BODY IS FABRICATED
Almost looks like a home-made body on a Jeep frame?
Could have started life as some sort of Jeep, it’s got classic AMC doorhandles
Maybe it’s a Dodge Power Wagon.
Looks like a Jeep windshield and doors. The rest looks homemade. Cool!

I’m sure we can argue all day what this truck’s origins are but one fact remains… it’s pretty damn sweet.
