It’s still ugly. Now the Nissan Cube has a certain asymmetrical style I like. Give the guy creds for trying, though. I hear Scions are pretty comfortable and can carry a ton of stuff… just ugly as sin.

On purpose or not, old Rubbermaid containers do not make “cool” wheel flares. I just want to be there when a rock or stick takes out that silly oil (transmission? engine?) cooler. It looks sloppy enough to drag on the ground.

Help23, we believe in personal creativity, but there is a line between creative and terminally retarded. A Scion with a bodykit that looks like it’s made from a mcdonalds ball pit playset (regardless of how rare or original it is, James, it sill looks awful) and a poorly installed intercooler easily qualifies as terminally retarded.
I don’t mind the wide rims and the flares. It would look better if the flares were paint matched. The only thing that bugs me are the exposed hoses going to the cooler..

the “extra radiator” is called a transmission cooler, they are used on all vehicles with an automatic tranny. also all ya have to do is look in the windshield to know it is a U.S. spec car (look for the steering wheel for the ignorant). I had an 05 xB but the is one of my favorite RS 2.0’s.

Those wheels cost more than what half of you people drive. For those that don’t know, it’s called Bosozuku style. Its a style of car design in Japan. The bumpers/sideskirts, wheels, and hatch are all straight from Japan…

I believe the right word is “FUGLY”
Only problem I have is the obvious non-safety feature of the exposed cooler and hoses. One person with a good sharp razor blade can lead to a burned out tranny or engine depending on what he’s using that aftermarket cooler for… Not smart, hide that thing.
We have a Scion xB and we just love it. Not many people see them so we get lots of attention. Funny part is my boyfriend’s nickname is Box!
Sweet, thats my boy James OG Bosuku style xb… (R.I.P), no need for hate… that “thing” as youd like to call it has got tons of exposure for being different, honestly he built the car for his taste, look up Bosuko style cars before you start talking outta your asses! If you build a car, build it for yourself no matter how ugly anyone thinks it is… your the one who has to drive it!

It kinda looks like someone went overboard trying to make a body kit to look like an original 280ZX, with the fender mirrors and large over-fenders. Just looks way too exxagerated for my tastes, and an xB should not have a track width extended by 2 feet!

The guy finally got rid of this thing because everyone hated it. The only people that remotely liked it were his close personal friends and even they had mixed emotions off the forums. Sadly he is now destroying a lexus.
