You got one of these ol’ boys, you sometimes have to put it back together from stray bits… it’ll still be running. Hell, there’s HAND CRANK for starting it behind the seats… I’d take it, as is!
Some limestone on those wheels, sills and some door-tops and it’s done. Has some military bits on it, but the only thing “wrong” with it is that vent on the front wing…it’s on the the wrong side.
That is the “close to done” stage of a very nice restoration. Anyone who knows cars knows that is a beautiful and rare for the US machine. I am also disappointed in the many rock crawler posts. They may not be pretty, but they are purpose built and a lot of time and money goes into them.
I doubt it will remain junk for long.
a work in progress

Yeah, it’s an old Land Rover, I’d drive that!!
The owner belongs to the “Piece of the Month” club. They send you one piece of the car each month. After many years, you have an entire vehicle!
That’s no hunk of junk that is a LAND ROVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
piece by piece by piece of shit.
Obviously whoever moderates or otherwise runs this site doesn’t know squat about vehicles…that is a cool truck.
i think it’s cool too
Solid attempt at a resto. Replace the bolt ons then work on the rest. Keep it up! You are going in the right direction!
I’m not a fan of foreign cars but I like this… I’d even keep the paint job.
