Reflector Gadget

funny_Car_166

Ontario, Canada

Ben glued reflectors on his van because he had what some people called an irrational fear of being hit by a car at night. Ironically, during his first night drive, he was struck by five cars who were blinded by the reflection. You see…you do often meet your destiny on the road you take to avoid it.

  3. At least they will not get hit at night!!!! I can see that conversation:

Officer: Why did you hit them?
Offender: I did not see the van.

Officer looks at offender, van, offender, van and back to offender.

Officer: HOW THE HECK COULD YOU NOT SEE THAT!!!!!

  61. If you can’t see this one you definantly should not have a license.

  62. Tom on January 30th, 2010
  63. @ Barb, that’s no surprise to me, considering he has two sets of air horns aimed at the windscreen. Sure, they’re pretty loud to people around him, but it probably is just as loud inside the van. Apparently he’s unaware that they make deflectors for those, to keep water out.

  64. Anna Rexia on January 30th, 2010
  65. im sure that you will see this guy coming from a mile away

  66. Penny on January 30th, 2010
  67. as someone else pointed out…. these are NOT reflectors!!! they are various marker/parking lights for 18-wheelers.

  68. Ravenwulf on January 30th, 2010
  69. I’m into vans. Vans are awesome. And I’m into auxiliary lighting. Auxiliary lighting rocks. But this is simply ridiculous.

  77. Those are not reflectors. Look more closely. Those are clearance lights that are normally mounted on trucks. Can anyone get a pic of it at night with all those lights lit up?

  78. Patrick on January 31st, 2010

  95. This guy lives down the street from me in Brockville, Ontario, Canada. The story attached to this photo is BS. This van has never been in an accident at all. If it was a peice in satire, I failed to see the humor.

  96. Brockville on March 6th, 2010
  97. From what I know this van is from OTTAWA ONTARIO, CANADA. I live here and I see it all the time. I’ve never seen it being drivin at night tho. It used to be alwase parked at the old Canadian tire on Carling across the street from Carlingwood mall. Definatly something to look at :D
